Photo printing tips
Taking beautiful photographs is an art .This fact is widely acknowledged, but a photograph can really be beautiful if the printing of the photo is equally good .It is generally seen in old photographs that they are taken very artistically in respect of the backdrop, the pose, the lighting etc, but the printing of the photo leaves much to be desired, and has not been able to stand the ravages of time. Most of these old photos have faded, are moth-eaten, and also in shreds. This is mainly due to the quality of printing then and also because of the quality of paper used. Resolution, sharpness and print quality is of utmost importance while photo printing .Given below are a few tips which could be kept in mind while photo printing: Find out which is the right paper for your print job. Specially coated inkjet paper could be used for better results. Using paper specially designed for your printer could produce the best results, so be sure to test a variety before choosing the right one. Allow the photos to dry before storing them .As the output tray fills up with stacks of freshly printed photos, the photos at the bottom may get marred by being too tightly compressed, so segregate them immediately. Another simple but important photo printing tip is to choose paper of the right size, or else you may find relevant pieces of the photo chopped off. Try and print your photos in bulk, as bigger discounts are offered when you print a large number of photos. Indulge in a printer of a good brand if you are printing it yourself. An image that looks good on screen may not look so good after printing. Ensure that your printer has at least four ink colors. For image quality, try to print photos with a resolution of at least 240 dots per inch, since the printed image quality becomes better when the resolution is higher. A photo editing program can be used to clean the photos before printing, and the sharpening tool could be used to enhance a soft focus picture. Remember while buying paper that the whiter the paper the clearer and more vibrant the picture. Matte papers also produce better pictures and should be definitely used wherever the prints are handled more often. Settings on your printer should be carefully studied, so that the printer is set to produce high quality pictures .Configure your printer for optimum results. The printer head should also be cleaned in order to get top quality photos. The last photo printing tip is not to place photos in your album without giving it at least twelve hours to dry. add
